Well, Im Haley. Im not too good at about me things, soooo. I dont know really. About me? Its complicated, you know? I really like drinking tea (iced or not), rice pudding, stress relief lotion, chips and salsa, strawberries, and rings. I also like music quite a bit, but who doesnt?

:Heres some things I like to do: I love to read. If there was a job where you could lay around and read and eat all day long, that would be the job for me, albeit fat, but happy. Painting and drawing are pretty much my next favorite things to do in my life. i also bake alot of things, grandma cookies are the best. This merely adds to my sitting around reading and getting fat. I occasionally like to do some yoga, pillates and/or running, this helps counteract the all the laying around. Being silly and wreaking havoc with my besties is a great pasttime that i enjoy about 90% of my time. chilling with the fam is good too, we play alot of board games, woooooh, board games! In the winter.snowboarding//skiing are, like, my life. In the summer, my cabin and the beach are my life.

The Truth

I beleive that the truth is that our generation is full of digital learners, and that the current way of teaching is not catering to many teens ways of learning. It says in Grown Up Digital that we are a geneartion that needs "speed and freedom" and being part of this generation I can say that I agree whole-heartedly. What is your interest in the Net Generation Education Challenge?

My interest in the Net Generation Education Challenge is to learn more about technology and students from around the world. I also would like to help change how students are taught today.

If you had ONE thing that you wish you could improve about education, what would it be?

The way that teachers teach us today is, I feel, not really they way we learn. We need more technology in our classrooms, and lectures need to be more fun! I also think that teens need to be better prepared for the workforce.
